أما بالنسبة للأصناف التي يمكن تخزينها مثل البطاطس والبصل والعنب والتفاح وبعض أنواع الخوخ ... فإن سعرها ، بحسب ترشيشي ، لا يتأثر بدرجة كبيرة بدرجة الحرارة. على الرغم من نضج موسم البطاطس مرة واحدة ، يتعين على المزارعين قطعها ، ولكن نظرًا لإمكانية تخزينها ، سيتم بيعها في السوق حسب الطلب. لن يتم تدميرها أو طرحها في السوق دفعة واحدة.

Al-Tarshishi gives watermelon an example, saying: Today, watermelon is abundant in the market, so its price is low, and the price of one kilo for farmers does not exceed 12 or 13 thousand Lebanese pounds, but its price will increase after that. period of time because its presence in the market will shrink.

Tarchichi stresses that the fruits will generally be harvested prematurely, because it is the season, and due to heat waves, they ripen about 15 to 20 days early. Also, lettuce ripens with the onset of the heat wave quickly, so the market rushed and its price fell to the extent that it no longer covered the cost of its cultivation, so large quantities of lettuce were listed as animal feed, which caused its price to rise today. Here, Al-Tarshishi points out that lettuce is a type of seasonal vegetable, and it is grown more than 10 times annually.

The second season is starting to mature, which means that its price will drop again in the coming days and will remain low until the end of the year.

As for the items that can be stored such as potatoes, onions, grapes, apples, and some types of peaches...their price, according to Tarchichi, is not greatly affected by temperature. Although the potato is ripe once in season, farmers have to cut it, but because it can be stored, it will be sold in the market according to demand. It will not be destroyed or put on the market all at once.

Al-Tarshishi says that zucchini and vegetables such as mint, watercress, and watercress are all affected by high temperatures. However, they are monthly and seasonal crops and are sown more than once a year.

As for tomatoes, since the season is still in its infancy, their price will decrease if this heat wave does not continue, because tomatoes are high-cost crops, and we are waiting for a promising season from them.

Tarshichi concludes that the life of the cucumber season will be short, as it is one of the fastest perishable products. However, although we'll quickly say goodbye to Al Muqtaa, we'll be seeing a great second season for him in October.
